I was totally blown away seeing this on the home page!!!
I would like to thank everyone who has left all the lovely comments, thank you all!!!

FS2S Layout

Here is this month's poster for From Screen 2 Scrap
Now I found this a very interesting poster to work with. The theme was to scrap about an important woman in my life. Well I picked my mum and here is my layout...
Well that is all for now :)

Some Layouts To Share...

First off I have been scraping today and actually got 2 layouts done for challenges over at ScrapZ.biz
Sheree challenge was to 'scrap it blind', I love doing these. The paper I used was quiet busy so I didn't add to many embellishments to my layout. I crotcheted the flower and edging, love the texture this give to the layout.
Next I created a layout for the fetch a sketch challenge. Here is the sketch that Jen designed...
Now here is my layout...
I used photos that I have has sitting around here for ages of my youngest son Brett taken in 2006. Has you can see in both layouts I have used some of old stash, really am trying to use as much has possible :)

A Sneak Peak...

Of next months challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap.
Will be able to reveal the whole layout soon. I have to admit that I really loved the way this layout turned out.

Photo Swap...

We had a photo swap over at Soul Scrappers. My partner was Kris and she sent me the most gorgeous photos to scrap. Here is the digital layout I created for her.
I used elements from French Frog.
And this is what she created for me.
This photo of my hubby was taken at Disneyland 2005, he was being silly and hopped into this loony toons car.
Well that is all for today, take care until next time!

My Layout...

for this weeks color challenge over at 'The Color Room'. This is this weeks palette...
Love these colors, aren't they gorgeous!
I looked at this image and just loved the idea of creating handmade flowers for my layout. I made tissue paper flowers, crotchet flowers and rolled paper flowers, I even crotchet the border. Also had a play with some paint on the background. Here is my creation...
The photo is of my sister as a toddler, she will not be impressed when she see this, lol!
Oh I almost forgot to share this layout I did for this weeks 'What's Cooking' challenge over at Scrapz.biz
For this challenge we had to have 3 or more photos, a flap, hand journaling which is under my flap (top right corner) and a day of the week. I used some of my old stash again with these October Afternoon papers. Love making the pinwheel, first time I have attempted to make one of these.
So that is all for now, until next time take care :)

Lots To Share....

This is going to be a long post, so make a cuppa and enjoy...
First some layouts to share with you for this months cybercrop over at Challenge Heaven
Challenge 1 - Colour. To use brown with one of these colours: Pink, Green or Blue.
I selected green...
I have had this We R Memory Keepers die cut paper for ages and it was perfect for this photo of Zoe.
Challenge 2 - To scrap lift a layout from Challenge Heaven gallery. I selected a stunning layout created by Ann-Marie 'A Special Love' and this is my take on AM's layout.
Challenge 3 - To use puzzle pieces to create a layout, the pieces are arrow, star, circle, die cut border & rectangle. I have never created a layout using puzzle pieces.
Last but not least is the Blind Scrap Challenge. I loved the way this one turned out, the instructions were so easy to follow.

Love the October Afternoon papers on this one.
This next layout is for the Scrap It Blind Challenge over at Scrapz.Biz.
My layout didn't turn out like the instructions as my photo was horizontal instead of vertical.
But I am please with the way it turned out. Sweet photo of my oldest son Martin with Zoe my youngest daughter taken many years ago, yep I am still trying to scrap the old photos.
The next two layout are for Soul Scrappers Challenges.
First is my Digital Challenge. I decided to do a puzzle pieces challenge, so enjoyed doing the one for Challenge Heaven. These are my pieces.
You have until 3rd May to get your creation uploaded to the gallery and the chance to win a prize donated my me. My sample for this challenge.
I used Traci Reed Digital Kit and Scrap Girls paper and embellishments.
Last one to share is for Shazza'a 'About Me' challenge. We had to find the meaning of our name, now that was interesting for me. I kept my layout simple so the focus is on the journaling.
So that is all for now, sorry it is such a long post will try to update more often in future.
Take care!

This is the next color palette challenge over at The Color Room.

I used elements from Digital Crea, Divine Digital and Scrap Girls kits.
I will also do a traditional paper creation for this palette too, love the colors and that sketch is awesome!
Thanks to everyone who has left me all the lovely comments, I really do appreciate hearing what you think of my creations, so a big 'Thank You' to you all!

For Challenge Heaven...

All these layout are for challenges over at Challenge Heaven
For the number challenge I created this one...
The criteria was to use 3 patterned papers, 2 circles and 1 bracket.
The ebony & Ivory challenge I create a digital layout...
Criteria was to use black or white with lime green and circles. I used feeling lucky kit. I had to laugh at my hubby he was concentrating so hard here that he was pulling these funny faces, he didn't even know I was taking his photo until I showed him, lol!
For the colour challenge I use one of the many photos from out India trip. Hubby and I had to dress up in traditional Indian attire. Now you would not believe how had it is to keep a sari on as it is only folded and tucked. I was so scared that it was going to fall off in the middle of the ball. We still have these outfits, it would be really lovely to get them out and wear them again, lol...
Criteria was to use warm colours and rounded corners. All the outer corners of my patterned paper have rounded corners but I ended up covering most of them, lol! And I don't think this photo was the best choice to use with these papers, oh well live and learn!
So that is all for now, take care!

I Have Been Playing...

with my photo editing program.
I downloaded these awesome textures from Shadowhouse Creation.
This is what I have created...
The color has really intensified in the one above with the added textures.

I altered this photo and entered it in the Aussie Scrapjack challenge set by Lynette Van Barrelo.

I really love the textures on the last one of me.
Now I have a layout to share. This is for the Scrap It Blind challenge over at Scrapz.biz
Love using string on my layouts at present. I think I have already scrapped this photo but for some reason I had a second copy, lol!

My Take...

On the first challenge over at 'The Color Room'.
This is the palette we had to work from.
and this is my creation...
I am looking forward to the next palette, I had lots of fun creating this one.

Gosh!

It has been a long time since I have posted.
I have a few layouts to share with you. Both of these I have created for the challenges over at Challenge Heaven.
This first one is for the Word Challenge, the work 'relax' had to be used  plus a paint effect. So this is what I created.
I had fun creation this paint effect, used water paint then blew through a straw to make it run in all different direction. I love the end result, almost looks like water reeds.
The photo were taken when we were in India, hubby decided to go on a river boat ride. I didn't go, you see I get sea sick even in the river and I can't swim, lol!
This next layout was for the Quote Challenge, we had to use the quote 'these are the moments I live for' plus using lots of layers.
I decided to give a smaller format a go for this layout, found I had a packet of these A4 kraft paper. Make these cool flowers and leaves out of scrap pieces of paper. Has you can see I am still using some of my old stash.
I do have another layout just about finished, just have to add title & journaling then I share.
So that is all for now, keep safe.

Gosh Were Does The Time Go!

It has been a while sine I have posted. Life just seem to get very hectic at time doesn't it...
First I would like to share my layout for this months challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap
The criteria was to use this movie poster for inspiration
The added criteria was to also use the colour yellow, have 'little miss or master' in the title, and to use a car, truck, train or van on your layout. So this is my creation...
This is the the first time I have used hessian on a layout, I also had this piece of cute gingham material with bees on it which just so suited this page.
Next is a digital layout for the sketch challenge over at Soul Scrappers, which is the same as the previous post, just had to use the sketch again, love it!
Well that is all for now, keep safe!
