Well It Is All Over...

Biggest Loser comp is over...I have the most fabulous time!
These are last few of my creations for the comp, you can check out all the fantastic work that everyone has submitted here...
For this challenge we had to use some special embellishment that we have been hanging onto, well if you know me I am a hoarder and I have so many thinks that I am hanging onto. So here is a layout I created using lots of Prima flowers and some Heidi Swapp chipboard that I have had forever...

The next layout we had to use lots of photos. I used photos that were taken on the night of my youngest daughters 21st birthday party, lots of unusable photos but I scrapped then anyway...

On day 11 we had to alter pre printed chipboard to alter it is some way, this is what I done...

Will be using this on a layout I am currently working on now.
Well that is all for now, keep safe...

I Have Been Busy...

Cleaning and sorting my scrapping area for the Biggest Loser Comp challenges over at Scrapz.Biz. I have done lots of rearranging and turfing of old stash, well I should say donating to charity. I have brought lots of storage boxes so everything has a place, just need to make labels so everything is easier to find now.
Now I have a few layouts to share for the Biggest Loser Comp over at Scrapz.Biz.
For the use it challenge on day 13 we had to use buttons on a layout, this is my creation...

I love the torn paper and all the little bits and pieces that are peeking out from behind things on this layout.
These next 2 layouts were for day 10, we had to use the same design to create 2 layouts...

I turned the design around for the next layout to suit the photo...

So that is all for now. Keep safe...

A Couple More...

Here are a couple more layouts I have created for the challenges over at Scrapz.Biz.
This first one was to create a layout with what you had on your desk, well my grand daughter helped out here. She came over and decided my desk was way to tidy, after I had spent a good few hours tiding it, so she pulled out a heap of my stash. She did put a lot of it away but of course there was a few bit left out. All I had to do was select the paper I wanted to use has the photo was already on my desk. I have had these papers forever in my stash and I was so glad that I finally got to use them.

I got a shock when I saw this as the feature layout on Scrapz.biz home page.
This next one was to create a layout with embellishments made using your punches, so I made these flowers out of my circle punches, the leaves are made from a heart punch and I also used my border punch.

The butterfly I traced out of a chipboard shape then cut it out.
Deb over at Scrapz.Biz has set a 52 week photo challenge, for week 2 we have to record our 2010 resolutions or intentions. I have done mine and kept them very simple this year. Had fun playing with my photo editing program to create this...

I found out yesterday that I am allergic to mango tree sap, you see I helped hubby to pick a lot of our mangoes has the flying foxes were getting to them. Well anyway I got some sap on my upper chest and you would not believe it when I got home from work last night I had these huge red welts that were that itchy. Today they have gone down a bit but they are till so itchy and they are starting to seep. I told hubby he has to pick the rest of the mangoes by himself. So glad that I can still eat mangoes, I love them!
Well that is all for now, keep safe!

A Couple Of Cards....

I made for Day 6 'Use it' challenge over at Scrapz.biz. For this challenge you have to use scissors or craft knife to cut out your own embellishment. No don't laugh at my robot, I think he is cute.

I used all scraps to make these cards, found these when I was culling out my scrap stash...well thanks for stopping by.

I Am...

right into all the challenges over at Scrapz.Biz. at the moment. This is for one of the 'Use It' challenge, we had to create a layout with a patchwork look to it but could only use paper scrap from our scraps stash.

Well that is all for now, keep safe.

A Couple More Photos

of my daughters car from yesterday's accident...

And these photos I took today at the towing yard...

Look at that lovely imprint of the power poll...
The assessor saw the car today and yep it is write off...he also commented that the drive of the other car was going well over the speed limit to cause this much damage...

What A Day...

My oldest daughter 'new' car was in an accident today, she wasn't driving it at the time of the accident it was parked outside her house in gear and with the park brake on. The car is a complete right off by the looks of it. What happened was a car was doing a U turn at the intersection just down the road from her place and another car come down the the hill clipped the car doing the U turn and lost control and ran straight into Tasha car, the impact was that severe that it pushed Tasha's car back about 3 meters into a power pole. So her car was impacted from the front as well as the back...
Here are a couple of photos of the accident...

My daughter's car is the black Honda.

She has only had the car for a month. We are waiting to see if the lady driving the car that hit her is going to be charged, we think that she had to of been traveling at a very fast speed (not 50kms speed limit) to clip a car 3 house blocks away and still cause that much damage to Tasha's car as well....
I am going to look at the car tomorrow in the wrecking yard.
So my day has been a bit upsetting, I am just so glad the Tasha & Summah weren't in the car at the time.
Now on a lighter note I have a layout to share, this one is for From Screen 2 Scrap January challenge. This is the poster we had to work with...

The criteria is: black & white layout and using one strong colour, also for extra points to use 3 or more black & white photos. So this is my take on the challenge...

Now over at  Scrapz.biz they are having a Biggest Loser comp. For one of the challenges we had to create this lovely origami box, here is mine...

There are new challenges posted every day and you have until the 20th to get them uploaded to be in the draw to win some fantastic prizes. Why not pop over and check it out.
Gosh this post is longer than I thought it would be, hope I didn't bore you...
