You Must Love Yourself...

This has been the only layout that I have scrapped so far this week. I used the sketch #015 from Scrapz.biz and the quote that was posted at Soul Scrappers.

The quote reads: 'You must love yourself  before you love another. By accepting yourself & fully being what you are... your simple presences can make others happy' by Jane Roberts.
I used some of my older stash here, the We R Memories Keeper paper. I also did some more of that stamping on fabric for my butterflies...just love this new technique I discovered over at Scrapz.biz.
I also got a lovely gift in the post today, from the lovely Rach over at Scrapz.biz for my shadow photo of hubby and me which you ca see a few post down. Thank you Rach, love all the goodies! I will take a photo tomorrow to show you all.
And now onto the big new I have....

You Two...

Summah just loves Boo, has you can see from the photos I used in this layout. Boo will put up with so much from Summah and wont scratch her or anything. I was a little bit upset when I went to take the photo of this layout, you see we have had a lot of rain here over the last 24 hours and the humidity has been very high. Well it has affected the paper on this layout, it is all curling and limp :( so frustrating!
Well anyway here is the layout, I am very please with the end result.

I used We R Memory Keepers pp & alphas, Scenic Route chip tag, silk & paper flowers, made my own tissue paper flowers, doily, lace, price tag, walnut ink, Heidi Grace heart, Kaiser pearls, also made some curls to look like vines.
Thanks for stopping by.

A Digi To Share...

I can't believe that I have done a digi layout, it has been so long!

I took this photo on Australia day of my hubby, so love how he is lost in thought and looking out over the water.
Thanks for stopping by, and I do love receiving your comments. Thanks...

Yesterday...

was Valentine's Day, so hubby & I went for a lovely long beach walk (my calf muscles are killing me now, lol), then we stopped at a lovely little cafe for brunch, it was lovely.
I got some really great photos, this is one of them...

We had fun with our shadows. I had to laugh trying to teach hubby how to make the heart with his hands, but he finally got it in the end.
So I hope everyone had a fantastic day yesterday like I did!

At It Again...

Here is another cards that I made for the Scrap Amour challenges over at Scrapz.Biz
For this challenge we had to stamp on material...now this is thinking outside the box for me!
So this is what I created...

I stamped my butterfly on calico then cut it out and mounted it onto CS which I also cut out so the butterfly was more 3D. I have to say I love the look of stamping on material.
So that is all for now, thanks for stopping by!

A Few More To Share...

I have made a few more cards to show you all...
These are also for the Scrap Amour challenges over at Scrapz.Biz

So love the technique called stamp kissing that was used here on the 'adore' word.

For this card we had to use background stamps, now I don't own large background stamps so I had to guess on positioning to repeat stamp the image in while ink...so don't look to closely please.
Well that is all to share for now, keep safe!

This Is What I Have Been Up Too....

I have made a couple of cards for the Scrap Amour challenges over at Scrapz.Biz.

This first card we had to create dimension. I used foam tape under the second stamped image of the heart to lift it off the page. Sorry you can't see it too well in the photo.

This next card we had to create a bit of love using stamps, so I made this pop-up card.
Well cards really aren't my thing but I like the way this one turned out. Now just to write on the inside and all ready for hubby for Valentine's Day.
Now I have a couple of sneak peeks for you, I know tease that I am! This is a layout I created for 'From Screen 2 Scrap' for next months poster.

I love the way this layout turned out, but alas you all have to wait to see the whole thing...
So that is it for me...

How Cute...

is this finch that was outside my bedroom window today. The colour was so vivid and there were red ones as well but I didn't get a chance to get a photo of them...stupid cat! Well you can guess what happened can't you...lol! I think the cats both need very large bells, the ones they are wearing are not working to well...

I know the photo is a bit blurry, I had to zoom in from a fair distance.
I have had a very uncreative week, no scrapping what so ever. I had a very stiff neck/shoulders at the beginning of this week (still is a bit stiff) and just haven't felt like creating anything. I am so hoping that maybe on the week end I might feel like doing something. I have day shifts for the next two days and grand daughter is sleeping over tomorrow night, so definitely no scrapping happening while she is here, she is such a ball of energy, never keeps still...lol!
So that is about all for now, keep safe!

My Lad...

For the February challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap we had to create a layout getting our inspirations from this poster...

Now this poster did give me some problems. I didn't have a lot of skull products so I had to download a skull & cross bones from the internet which I then mounted onto cardstock and cut out...so anyway here is my layout...

I am still trying to use some of my really old stash has you can see...
Well that is all for now, take care!
