Soul Quest - There Something About Christmas

For Soul Quest #10...the lovely Debi sent everyone that signed up an awesome goodies bag to create something Christmas themed.
The bag contained: 1 serviette, 4 shiny little leaves, 2 silver brads, 1 silver flower, 1 large DS tag, 3 stamped images, 2 DS paper squares, 2 stickers, 1 chippie sticker, 2 ribbons, 1 vintage postage image and 1 small piece of fabric.
After much procrastinating and pushing thing around for days I finally came up with this layout.
I loved the green spot serviette so I used it for the background. I used all items included as per requirement. The only extra thing I included was a Christmas rubon. I am still not 100% happy with the end result but I spent days trying to come up with something that was passable.

Thanks again for stopping by :)

A Sketch Chellenge

Come on over to Scrapbooking Haven for a fantastic sketch challenge.
Amy designed an awesome sketch. I flipped the sketch to suit the photo I used, such a versatile sketch.
This is my take...
My grand daughter Summah had gorgeous curls when she was younger but alas they are all gone now, I am so thankful that i have some beautiful photos of them.
And this is the sketch.
All the DT girls have done a fantastic job creating samples for everyone to get inspiration from.
Come on over and check it out :)

I Thought

I would play along in this months challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap!
This is my page...
The poster for November is Home for the Holidays.
The extra criteria was to journal in white pen, use the word 'home' and a photo of a family gathering.
Lots of fun playing along so why don't you play along too...

A Couple

of digital pages to share with you all.
All of these were created for challenges over at Soul Scrappers.
First up is Ebony and Ivory challenge set by Jane.
We could only use black and white on out page, gosh I found that hard to do! The photo is of mum, my siblings and me. We were at the local show, has you can see by the hats and it looks like we were not happy to wearing them...lol!
Next up is Mary's word challenge. We had to use the word 'cute' and an under 12 months old baby photo.
I decided to use a photo of my oldest daughter 'Natasha', she went through a phase of sticking out her tongue all the time, so cute!
There are lots of awesome challenges over at Soul Scrapper if you want to have a look.
