It's Been a While...

since I last posted. I don't have that much to share with you, just a couple of traditional layouts and a digital one.
This first one is based on this months sketch over at A2Z Scraplets
Created my crotchet strip, flowers, leaves and die cut paper for this layout. I used hand made tissue paper for the leaves and flowers. You can't really see it in the image but I also stamped over the painted chip work, to give it a bit more dimension.
I love color challenges, this next layout is for this months color challenge over at Challenge Heaven. Not sure if I like all this orange on a layout, but it is done now.
Had to use colors black, gray and orange, plus also use ribbon. I played with paint on this layout, used bubble wrap and gray paint on the black cardstock.
So this last one to share is a digital layout for the digital challenge #9 over at Soul Scrappers.
Hubby and I had fun playing around taking these photos at the beach a few months back, so I decided to use one of these.
So that is all I have to share for now. Take care!

Only 2

layouts to share with you today!
I am go lovely the color inspiration over at The Color Room.
This week we have boy colors to work with, but I created a girl page, this is the palette.
Aren't these colors awesome. So this is what I created with this palette.
and a close up of the vines and bird cage which is some hybrid scrapping I had a go at...
My grand daughter Summah is such a character at time when I want to get a photo of her, it took me a while to get a decent photo but I loved them all so I didn't delete any of them and just had to scrap a few.
Next is a layout I created for this month's sketch challenge over at Challenge Heaven.
A photo is of my oldest son taken many years ago, he was 2 here. He picked a flower for me, so sweet! Writing on the tag reads 'caught in the act'.
Well that is all for now, take care!

This Could Be Long...

I have a few layouts to share with you.
First this was this weeks color palette over at the Color Room
Love the soft girl colors and isn't that sketch fantastic. This is my layout for this weeks challenge.
I did some stamping on my background paper again, just love stamping at the moment.
The photo doesn't really show off the love soft mauve of the background paper, bad lighting and I did try a few different spots and days but in the end I selected this one to upload.
I scrap jacked over at Aussie Scrapjack.
One of the jacks for May is a beautiful album cover created by Leanne Allinson, I loved the yellow and white colors so I created this layout as my entry for Leanne's jack.
I made my own lace and flowers for this layout and used some of my old stash again.
Now over at Soul Scrappers I took part in the current sketch challenge. This is llina's sketch which you can see here... This is my digital layout I created based on the sketch.
Love the elements from Divine Digital used here. I am not sure what year the photo was taken but I think it was late 1940. Also Erika from Soul Scrappers organised a Soul Scrap Quest, for all that signed up a small bag of goodies were sent out for you to create with, I created this layout using most of what was sent to me.
I only added a couple of extra item to complete my page, have to say the colors were a lot brighter than I am use to scrapping at present so that was a challenge just there.
Well that is all the sharing I have for now, so until next time take care!

Not Much

to share this week.
The Color Room palette #4 was lovely rich tones of oranges and browns.
I really struggled with these colors but once I got going creating my layout it all sort of worked.
The photo was taken in 1962 of my mum, sister and me. I loved the mix of papers: Webster, K & Co and Kaiser.
I also did a layout for this months quote challenge over at Challenge Heaven.
The criteria was to use the words 'Gotta Love' in your title and no flowers. Now that was hard for me, no flowers but I managed. This is what I created...
This is my oldest son with me, gosh look at that hair. The photo was taken when he was 17 years old, now he is 25. I had some fun with my inks and stamps here and used some of my old stash with the KI Memories & American Crafts papers.
Well thanks for stopping by, take care!
