What A Day...

My oldest daughter 'new' car was in an accident today, she wasn't driving it at the time of the accident it was parked outside her house in gear and with the park brake on. The car is a complete right off by the looks of it. What happened was a car was doing a U turn at the intersection just down the road from her place and another car come down the the hill clipped the car doing the U turn and lost control and ran straight into Tasha car, the impact was that severe that it pushed Tasha's car back about 3 meters into a power pole. So her car was impacted from the front as well as the back...
Here are a couple of photos of the accident...

My daughter's car is the black Honda.

She has only had the car for a month. We are waiting to see if the lady driving the car that hit her is going to be charged, we think that she had to of been traveling at a very fast speed (not 50kms speed limit) to clip a car 3 house blocks away and still cause that much damage to Tasha's car as well....
I am going to look at the car tomorrow in the wrecking yard.
So my day has been a bit upsetting, I am just so glad the Tasha & Summah weren't in the car at the time.
Now on a lighter note I have a layout to share, this one is for From Screen 2 Scrap January challenge. This is the poster we had to work with...

The criteria is: black & white layout and using one strong colour, also for extra points to use 3 or more black & white photos. So this is my take on the challenge...

Now over at  Scrapz.biz they are having a Biggest Loser comp. For one of the challenges we had to create this lovely origami box, here is mine...

There are new challenges posted every day and you have until the 20th to get them uploaded to be in the draw to win some fantastic prizes. Why not pop over and check it out.
Gosh this post is longer than I thought it would be, hope I didn't bore you...
