my MIL has blocked arteries in both legs. She has just had major surgery 3.5 weeks ago on a strangled hernia, now this. It is a waiting game now to see how long it takes to get in to see the specialist and when the surgery can be done, this can not be done locally she has to go to Brisbane. It will either be artery by-pass or a stent like device placed in the arteries to keep them open, which ever way it is major surgery. They are trying to get the pain under control in the meantime.
So now we wait and pray...

Oh dear Marisa! The poor thing. Hope she is feeling better soon.
Oh your poor MIL. She must be well and truly sick of hospitals by now:(
