Better Late Than Never...

Well I have finally completed my layout for week 4 challenge of the 'Are You Feeling Lucky' at D2U. The criteria was to use: 4 or more photos, colour rub-ons: which I added to acetate then used foam adhesive to give them more dimension, doodling hand drawn: I didn't like my first attempt at swirls on the right side of the layout, so I covered it with stitching and stitching hand or machine: that hand stitching took me 2 hours to complete but it was worth it. Well I covered all the criteria....
I wasn't sure if I like the way the layout turned out, so I just walk away last night and slept on it (not on the layout, lol) and when I looked at it again this morning I didn't mind it at all.

That is all I have gotten done, my scrapping plans were sort of thrown out the window as my MIL had to have emergency surgery last Sunday and is still in hospital. It has been a very stressful week, and there is a possibility that complications can occur. So it is just a matter of waiting to see what happens, but we are all praying for her speedy recovery.
Well I am off to get some work done hopefully.
