Looks See What I Have Been Creating...

I have a few layouts to share with you.
First up is my layout for this weeks color palette over at the Color Room.
This is the palette...
Now for my layout I used Dream Street and Kaiser paper, Prima and Bella flowers, paint, string, thinkers, mini alphas, Scenic Route chip works...
Yep the background paper looks a bit too pink but it isn't, it is more on the red side. The photos are of my twins when they were 14 months old in 1986.
Next are my layouts for this weeks challenges at Scrapz.
My take on the sketch challenge. I used Basic Grey papers, Heidi Swapp chip alphas, SEI brads...

Next is my layout for the scrap it blind challenge. Sassafras Lass papers, thickers, Heidi Swapp ghost flower, K & Co flowers, Scenic Route chip word, Lil Davis chip shape, ribbon & string.
Now for my layout for the what's cooking challenge. We ahd to use something old, something new, something blue, green and orange. I used old Daisy D paper, new Kaiser 'up, up and away' chip buttons, and 3 colors blue, green and orange. I made some fabric flowers out of orange gingham fabric. Photo is my oldest daughter at 14 months of age, 1986.
Next I have some digital layouts to share for some challenges over at Soul Scrappers.
Mary's challenge was to use a collage of photos on the layout.
Kit used from Scrap Girls.
Next was Amy's challenge to create a layout about your 'to do' list.
Kit used from Digital Crea. My to do list is what I do every morning.
Shazza challenge was to scrap a layout with information on what happened the year you were born.
I used elements from Little Dreamer designs to create this layout. The photo is of me when I was about 15 months old.
Well that is all I have to share. I love receiving your comments and reading them. Thanks for stopping by!

What Have I Been Doing...

Besides working I have been creating, had a bit of a slow few day there when I thought I was going to loose my creative juices but all is well now. So here are my layouts to share with all of you.
First up is this weeks color palette from the color room.
This is the palette...
and my layout...
a few close up to show you the details...
This is the first time I have used liquid pearls on a layout, love them! Used Daisy D paper, trims, hybrid scrap images, Kaiser pearls, tissue paper, AC thickers, HS plastic alpha, Pink Paislee rubons and Cherry Art chip swirl.
Next I have some layouts for this weeks challenges over at Scrapz.
For the Scrap It Blind challenge...
I used Sassafras Lass papers and stickers, Cosmo Cricket sticker, AC thickers, some rubons, string, tag and made the stars out of cardstock.
and the What's Cooking challenge...
Used My Mind's Eye papers, buttons, A2Z chip bird, Lil Davis chip bookplate, AC thickers and ribbon, Making Memories bling brad and Kaiser mini alphas.
For the Fetch a Sketch challenge...
I used some really old Sweetwater papers here, also Lil Davis chip alphas, chip buttons, string, lace and DCWV chip shape.
And now for the month challenge. Mel has some wonderful instructions on how to make these cute and very easy mini pizza boxes. This is mine...
So that is what I have been up too.
I really need to post more often so that the posts aren't so long, it just seem to get away from me.
Well until next time, take care!

The Big News and a couple of layouts...

Well my big news is that I am going to be a grandmother again...woohoo!!!!
The baby is due at the end of January. Summah my beautiful granddaughter will have a brother or sister...
So exciting, I can't wait...

Now a couple of layouts.
First is this weeks palette for the color room.
Here is the palette...
I incorporated hybrid scrapping with traditional scrapbooking to create my layout.
I had a bit of an accident with paint on the bottom left hand corner so there was a bit more than I wanted to have there :(. The flower car and trees are the hybrid items I used. Punched the butterflies out of velum and used some old stash again, has you can see. Here are some close up to show you the detail.

Next is my digital layout challenge over at Soul Scrappers. My challenge is for you to create a layout about your man. It has to include 4 photos and a 2 work title. You have until 27th July to get your creation uploaded to the gallery. Here is my sample.
Well that is all I have to share for now so until next time take care!

Some Really Old Paper Used...

I forgot to show you this layout I did for the scrapbook whispers over at Challenge Heaven
I dug through my stash and found these old Rita Marie & company paper and thought they were just perfect for this photo...
Made some of these gorgeous tissue paper flowers and crocheted the lace myself. Also found some old time related stickers that were perfect.
Well thanks for stopping by, I hope you like what you see on my blog :)

A Digital Layout

I did this one tonight for the What's Cooking challenge over at Scrap.biz
Mel set the challenge and we had think about winter warmers. Plus we had to use 2 different alphas, a keepsake and 3 different papers. Well I don't know about the winter warmers but Summah is all rugged up in warm clothes.  The keepsake is a drawing Summah did for me, don't you love her people in the drawing :)
I used kit 'blossom of ice' from Digital Crea
Love the soft pink and gray colors in the kit and the embellishments are so cute.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Great Weather For Scrapping...

It is so cold and overcast here, just perfect for scrapping.
So here are a couple of layouts I did for challenges over at Scrapz.biz.
This one is for the sketch challenge. This is the sketch that Heike designed.
And this is my layout based on the sketch.
here are some close up, it is terrible weather for taking photos today.
Next one is for Kerryn scrap it blind challenge.
Loved the challenge of doodling around the edge of the base cardstock. Sorry the image is so bad, will update it when the weather clears up. The photo is of my oldest daughter when she was 2 years old. Here is a close up of some of the detail.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Just A Couple...

of layouts to share with you all.
First of this weeks color palette over at the color room
and this is my layout I created for this week...
I used this weeks sketch, just loved it. Here are a couple of close up to show you the details...
I have done a few digital layouts for challenges over at Soul Scrappers.
First one was for the current theme challenge set by llina. We had to use red and green colors with one other colour but it could not be a Christmas layout. So this is what I created...
I used some of the photos from out India trip. That background paper was perfect...
Next was a layout for Shazza's about me challenge, we were not allowed to use a photo only journaling about how we met our partners, also we had to have a icon on the page and a snazzy title. So this is my layout...
Well that is all for now. I have done a couple more layouts but haven't taken any photo of them so until next time take care...

Some Layouts To Share...

First up is my DT layout for this months poster over at From Screen 2 Scrap
The criteria this month is to use the color teal of shades of green, have some metal on your page and block or rectangle style alphas. I have covered all the criteria and I was very pleased with the multiple bookplates with tags.
Next is a layout I did for last months sketch challenge over at Challenge Heaven, lol, forgot to upload it in their gallery.
Also here is a sneak peek for a layout I did for the scrapbooking whispers over at Challenge Heaven.
Will be able to share the whole layout shortly, as soon as everyone has done theirs.
Now I have one that I did for the what's cooking challenge over at Scrapz.biz  The criteria was to use a vintage element, ink, stars, draw a border and a paint chip or make your own. So this is what I created...
Never used a paint chip before on a layout. I kept this layout simple, but not sure if I am really pleased with it.
Now has you can see from all of my layouts I have been busy using lots of my old stash, I really don't think I will ever get to be bottom of all my old stash.
Last but not least is a digital layout for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers. The criteria was to use a definition on the layout.
I used elements from Digital-Crea. My DS is such a shocker to get a decent photo off, so I just scrapped the not so perfect ones...
Well thanks for stopping by!
