My page for this month's challenge over at Black With Two.

Now to this months challenge
its DOMINANT black, with MULBERRY +LIME, inspo word = INSPIRATION
and this is the mood board...

Don't know if I have the lime colour correct but it was the closest I could get to it. The paint is lime from Making Memories but here it looks more olive, oh well!
Here are a few close up to show you some of the details.

Had fun with some rubons over the lime paint and some of the patterned paper.

Well I Am Not Going...

To be late posting my latest layout for Scrap the Girls this month after the stuff up last month...lol!
So what do you have to create this month I hear you ask, it is simple you have to create a page using boy colour and some sort of boy embellishment has to be use on your page. But remember boys not allowed, so please use your girl photos :)

So has you can see I have gone with the colours green and brown, and my boy embellishment is the stars. My water paint splatters on the background looks a bit like mud which I also think is boyish. Mind you I just couldn't resist adding some flowers, I know naughty me!
So do play along with this months challenge, will love to see what you have created.

I am really sorry about this :(

So here is my page, nothing like leaving it until the very last moment of the month to post it.
We were all given some lovely embellishments from Charms Creation to use, so this month is about using a heart or doily on your page.

Here are a few close up of the clusters of embellishments.

Just Scrapped In!

I finished this page a few days ago but haven't had the chance to take a photo to upload it, so here is my take for this month's challenge over at Kraft It Up!
The challenge is create a page using kraft paper and a list, well my list isn't a very long one but it still is a list.

I am really pleased with how this turned out :) Used up some scraps of patterned paper that I just couldn't bring myself to throw out. Thanks for stopping by :)

Gosh!!!

It has been a long time since I have scrapped. But the bug has returned so I decided to do a challenge to really get my creative flow happening.
So this layout is for this moth's challenge over at White With 1.
The challenge is to create a page using white with latte.

I got the latte colour but ended up with some chocolate in there as well. Used some old papers from Making Memories here, love that die cut paper. Photos are of hubby and me taken while we were at the Taj Mahal in India, such a beatuful monument of love!

I got my inspiration from the light part of the photo, all those bright colours. I used only cardstock creating this layout, so that my bricks looks as much like the ones in the photo. Grudged up the background a bit by using a few different shades of mist to match the cardstock.

OMG...OMG...OMG...How could I forget!!!!

How could I forget to share my layout for this month's challenge at Scrap The Girls :(

I flipped the sketch over so it would work with my photos of Mia. Found these cute chipboard fish in my stash which I thought looked adorable so used I used them.

123 Challegne

I am on a roll at present with all the layout I am creating :)
This one is for the 123 Challenge.
This month's 3 selection criteria is to use...colour: metallic + technique: bow + word: Joy.
Didn't have a lot of metallic elements to work with but I am please with I did use.

Had to take the photo in the late afternoon sun otherwise none of the metallic elements would of been seen to there full potential. Played with the mist on the background here, used a straw to blow out the large droplets. Looks okay I think.
This will most likely be my last share for this month so I hope you have all enjoyed what I have created.

Mia was so cute in this photo taken a couple of years ago, she was more interested in the tag then unwrapping the present, that is why I decided to title this layout 'is this mine'.

All I Want For Christmas

Scrap The Boys blog challenge this month is to scrap a layout about 'all I want for Christmas'.
So this is what I did after finding this gorgeous photo of my oldest son taken a few years back.

I used up some older Christmas supplies here. Loved using the Basic Grey patterned paper for the background, it gives the layout a warm feel.
I am loving creating at present seeing has I have more time being on holidays :)

Another Layout To Share

This page is for this month's challenge over at Kraft It Up.
Had a choice of two different colour combo...
Aqua/Kraft/White/Silver or Pink/Kraft/ White/Gold.
So of course I went with the Pink/Kraft/White/Gold.

I used some stamps and rubons in white and pink on the background to add a bit of lift to the kraft cardstock. Raided my Christmas scraps box for the paper and some of the other bits and pieces.

White with Banana

Well I think my banana is a bit over ripe...lol!!!
White With 1 colour challenge this month is white with banana but my banana is off or over ripe I think...
Have a look and see for yourself...

Isn't it funny when I am looking for a certain colour in my stash I can never seem to find it, but at other times when not needed I can, very frustrating!
Anyway this is my layout for this months challenge. Here are some close ups to show some of the details.

This photo of Summah was taken on our Bali trip [Sept 2013] at the Waterbom park, Summah didn't want to get her photo taken with the local mascot 'the waterbom duck' but we talked her into it and it is a lovely photo :)

Candy Red and Crystal Blue

What a lovely colour combo when added to black. These are the colour combo for this months challenge at Black With Two.
I will get right into showing you my page, so here it is...

Don't know if I got the crystal blue colour right but this is the closest I had. This page started as a big disaster, you should see the back side of the black cardstock...big, big, big MESS!!!
But hey I just could throw out the cardstock, but I didn't I used the back side. It didn't have the texture but that was ok.

Monkey Fun

Gosh December is her already, were has the time gone!
So seeing it is the beginning of the month that means that a new challenge has been posted up at Scrap The Girls. For this month you have to create a layout using....
multiple photos, a least 3.
This is what I created...

These photos of Summah were taken on our Bali holiday, she was unsure about the monkeys climbing all over her but she warmed up to it after a while.
