In Your Eyes

I created this page for Debi's Ebony and Ivory challenge over at Soul Scrappers.
Besides the black and white colors we were allowed to use touched of blue.

I went with a darker shade of blue and converted my photo to black and white. My 2 gorgeous grand daughters have the most gorgeous large brown eyes.

12 Days Of Christmas

Over at Scrapbooking Haven we are having the '12 Days Of Christmas' challenge.
It started on the 1st and each day a simple challenge is being set by one of us DT's.

My turn will be on the 8th, I have a simple OPT for everyone to try.

FS2S December Challenge

I played along with this months challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap. The inspiration is a beautiful 'White Christmas' poster this month.
The extra criteria was to use white cardstock, 2 color title and Christmas hats. So this is my page...

Summah and I had a ball last year putting on our Christmas hats and taking photos.

December Sketch Challenge

This month over at Scrapbooking Haven Amy has 2 awesome sketches for this challenge.
I decided to use the second one to create this page.

I turned the sketch on it side has it seemed to work better with my photo. I used lots of lovely goodies out my DT kit, these include Teresa Collin papers, stamp and die cuts, Basic Grey alphas [from a previous DT kit] and some Maya Road rosette ribbon. All these goodies can be found at Scrapbooking Haven.
I loved the Bella zipper flowers [my own supply], they worked so well with the papers and colour combo.
You have until the end of the month to get your pages in for this challenge.

Soul Quest - There Something About Christmas

For Soul Quest #10...the lovely Debi sent everyone that signed up an awesome goodies bag to create something Christmas themed.
The bag contained: 1 serviette, 4 shiny little leaves, 2 silver brads, 1 silver flower, 1 large DS tag, 3 stamped images, 2 DS paper squares, 2 stickers, 1 chippie sticker, 2 ribbons, 1 vintage postage image and 1 small piece of fabric.
After much procrastinating and pushing thing around for days I finally came up with this layout.

I loved the green spot serviette so I used it for the background. I used all items included as per requirement. The only extra thing I included was a Christmas rubon. I am still not 100% happy with the end result but I spent days trying to come up with something that was passable.
