I Can't Believe...
that there is less than 6 weeks to go to Christmas :o
Were has the time gone...the year just seem to go so fast or is that me getting older and can't keep up, lol!
So now I have a couple of digital layouts to share with you all today.
This first one is for the sketch challenge over at Soul Scrappers
Here is the sketch designed by Karen.
This is what I created...
I used digital kit from My Scrapbook Art. Now for this next challenge which is also running over at Soul scrappers, Shazza wanted us to create a layout about a celebrity hunk. Now this got me thinking has I just love quiet a few celebrities, it was a hard decision but I ended up going with Johnny Depp. I found this gorgeous photo of him (I think it was taken when he was a little bit younger), the sepia colour was perfect to use with the digital kit I had in mind from Divine Digital.
So that is all I have to share for now, take care until next time and thanks for stopping by :)

November Sketch #1
over at Kaiser is fantastic. I created this layout based on the sketch.
I used Kaiser 'Hey Birdie' paper, Kaiser bling and mini alphas, Kraft cardstock, AC thickers, paper doily, ink, flowers, string, ric rac, lace, mask, MM fabric brads, border punch. I also made some more of my own glimmer mist using aged paper liquid ink and perfect pearls. Had a little accident and sprayed a little bit too much mist at the top right hand corner.I have also been experimenting with a make-up sponge and ink for distressing, rather like the effect. And of course I have been making more of those fab concertina flowers.

This Months Poster
over at From Screen 2 Scrap is 'Casablanca', an oldie and a classic. The extra criteria is to use an aeroplane, 2 colours in the title and either 2 photos or 2 figures cut out of photos. So this is what I created...
For my title I used 2 different inks, paint and glimmer mist. Has the poster had a distressed look about it I did lots of distressing. Papers are from K&Co blue awning range. I also used some of my really old stash, gosh I have lots to use up. The photos were taken when we were waiting at LAX airport for our transfer flight to Las Vegas. Well anyway why not pop on over and check out FS2S.

What's Cooking Challenge...
over at Scrapz was to create a layout using an aussie vernacular, colour blocking and something big.
So this is what I created...
When we went to America back in 2005 we stayed in LA for a few day and did a tour of Universal Studios. At the Jaws display there was one of the sharks from the movie, so I just had to get hubby to stand beside it so I could take a photo. Has you can see I have used lots of old stash: Lil Davis chip alpha letters and shapes, We R Memory Keepers papers and frame, Carolee's Creation mini alpha, buttons, string & thread. TFL

Week 2 Layout For Scrap That Ad...
For the week 2 challenge in the Scrap that Ad challenges over at Scrapz, biz we had to create a layout base on the Vegemite ad and also had to use diamond shape, Vegemite colours and the word happy.
I used old Making Memories stamps for the diamond shapes and then I outlined a few in black pen, made the stars and bracket out of black cardstock, used up a few scrap pieces of paper for the strips behind the photo, the hearts and butterflies. Overall I just used leftover scrap and bits & pieces here.
Well that is all I have to share for now, hope you like!

For Challenge Heaven...
All these layout are for challenges over at Challenge Heaven
For the number challenge I created this one...
The criteria was to use 3 patterned papers, 2 circles and 1 bracket.
The ebony & Ivory challenge I create a digital layout...
Criteria was to use black or white with lime green and circles. I used feeling lucky kit. I had to laugh at my hubby he was concentrating so hard here that he was pulling these funny faces, he didn't even know I was taking his photo until I showed him, lol!
For the colour challenge I use one of the many photos from out India trip. Hubby and I had to dress up in traditional Indian attire. Now you would not believe how had it is to keep a sari on as it is only folded and tucked. I was so scared that it was going to fall off in the middle of the ball. We still have these outfits, it would be really lovely to get them out and wear them again, lol...
Criteria was to use warm colours and rounded corners. All the outer corners of my patterned paper have rounded corners but I ended up covering most of them, lol! And I don't think this photo was the best choice to use with these papers, oh well live and learn!
So that is all for now, take care!

Only 1 To Share...
I create this layout for the last chickadee challenge over at Scrapz.biz.
Love this photo of my twins at the age of 9 months, the year was 1986. Yep I am still trying to scrap through my kids photos, lol. Made the lady bugs out of scrap pieces of paper.
Thanks for stopping my!
We had to use this image to get our inspiration.
I selected the pastel colours as my inspiration. We also had to use 3 buttons, 3 flowers, 3 different papers and some lace. What I Have Been Creating
First layout to share is for Lydell's sketch challenge over at Scrapz.Biz. I loved the sketch, I used some of my old stash here, I also added some glitter to the large cut out flowers for a little something extra.
The quote reads 'spread your wings and let the fairy in you fly'.
Next I created this digital layout for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers. The challenge was to scrap 5 of your goals for this year, I used digital elements from Summer Time Designs.
Love the pastel shades on this.
Now this next layout combined a challenge sketch from Soul Scrapper and a 'What's Cooking' challenge from Scrapz.biz. I have never done a what's cooking challenge, so this was all new to me. Had to use the colour brown, at least 1 oval shaped element, a bow and either a rabbit or a bird. I didn't have a rabbit so it was the bird. I covered my chipboard shapes with gingham material for something a bit different.
Last but not least is a just because digital layout. I thought it was about time I scrapped one of my favourite pass times, reading!
So that is all for now, until next time take care!
