over at From Screen 2 Scrap is 'Casablanca', an oldie and a classic. The extra criteria is to use an aeroplane, 2 colours in the title and either 2 photos or 2 figures cut out of photos. So this is what I created...
For my title I used 2 different inks, paint and glimmer mist. Has the poster had a distressed look about it I did lots of distressing. Papers are from K&Co blue awning range. I also used some of my really old stash, gosh I have lots to use up. The photos were taken when we were waiting at LAX airport for our transfer flight to Las Vegas. Well anyway why not pop on over and check out FS2S.

I Forgot to Share This One!
This layout is for Mistra's challenge over at Red Earth Scrapping. We had to use this quote "Constant use will not wear ragged the fabric of friendship". ~Dorothy Parker, also fabric, ribbon and the colour pink.
This photo was taken at the beginning of this month at my oldest son's engagement party, most of the family was there but not all in the photo. Just love how everyone is so relaxed. I have used MM and Asian Pear Blossom paper, fabric, AC thickers, chip flourish, ribbon, Heidi Grace pins & chip heart, Pink Paislee artisan elements and Pebbles tag. Thanks for stopping by :)

Just One!
To share with you. This layout is for the Melbourne Cup Comp over at Scrapz. The criteria was to use the following sketch.
Also to use a photo of someone dressed to kill, something that flutters and something from your wardrobe.
Now this last one had me stumped for a while...until I remembered about some earrings I had (haven't worn them for years)...perfect. So this is what I created...
The center of the flower is my earring. The photo is my youngest DD Zoe. I used a Crete Paper kit I had sitting around with a MME die cut title. Also used Bella flower petal which I added glitter to tips of petals, punched butterflies also glitter added around edge, Prima bling, bling flowers and lace.
So that is my one layout to share with you. Thanks for stopping by :)

A Card and a Layout...
This card is for a challenge over at Scrapz. Sheree showed us how to make these accordion flowers which are fabulous, thank you Sheree. Mind you I had a bit of a problem with my hot glue gun, I need a new one I think. So this is my card, I used non-traditional Christmas colours again for my card.
There is still a bit of wet glue so don't look to close will you. I used bits and pieces out of my scraps box to make this one.
Now for a digital layout I did for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers, Mary set a challenge for us to scrap about a book, we had to title our layout 'this book' so this is what I created.
All elements used are from Digital Crea.
So that is all for now, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a great day :)

It Has Been A While...
Time just seem to get away from me sometimes...
So I have a few things to share with you all.
First up is a layout for a weekly challenge over at Scrapz
This is a photo of my twins, Natasha and Martin, Natasha was a cheeky little girl always sticking out her tongue. I used Pink Paislee die cut paper and alphas, Making Memories and Webster paper, buttons, MM clips, ribbon and a few other bits and pieces.
Also made this Christmas card for a challenge over at Scrapz, we had to use non-traditional colours so I went with purple and green.
Used Around the Block paper, AC ribbon and MM tag.
I came across this lovely website the other day called Red Earth Scrapping. So I decided to do a couple of their challenges, you have a whole month to get them done. Why not pop on over and have a look.
First up is Helen's sketch challenge.
Had lots of fun stamping and sewing on this layout. I used We R Memory Keepers papers, plus lots of odds and ends. The photo is of me with my family at the beach back in 1963. That is me looking to the side at my mum.
Another one I did was for Susanne Stash stomper challenge, we had to create a layout with a patchwork/quilting theme, use the colour pink of at least 3 elements and stitching.
This layout 'Angel Sometimes' I used lots of different paper to make my squares, Prima flowers, MM alphas, Lil Davis clip, brads, buttons, string, metal plaque and decorative pins.
So that is all for now, thanks so much for stopping by :)

Macro Monday...
Yep I know it is Tuesday, lol...
But anyway here is my photo for this weeks Macro Monday shot.
I have these hanging baskets on my veranda of these plants that flower every spring, I have no idea what they are, some sort of iris I think. But look at the detail in the center of the flower.
Here is a closer shot...

Creative Scrappers
This is my take on sketch 125 over at Creative Scrappers.
Love the sketch...
I used lots of bits and pieces for this layout, things I had sitting on my desk after the last layout I created. I used a Polaroid photo effect on the photo of my grand daughter Summah.
Thanks for stopping by.

A Few...
Layouts to share with you all.
First up is my take on this weeks color palette over at the color room.
This is the palette...
I thought these colors would make a great teen page so I create a layout using a photo of my youngest son Brett when he was in high school. I used lots of bits and pieces that I had laying around, must admit it is great way to use up lots of odds and ends.
I am rather pleased with how this turned out, mind you Brett was not happy with me using a photo of him, lol! I found these cool stamps that I forgot I had, they stamp like scrabble letters, they might be my old new favorites. Also did some masking with glimmer mist, never did this before and I do like it...
Now for this weeks 'What Cooking' challenge over at Scrapz. The criteria was to use a school photo, circle element/s, 2 different alphas and a tag. This is what I created.
Used lots of very old stash here as you can see. The photo is of my 4 children taken back in 1998, there first day back at school after the Christmas holidays...

Some More Cards...
for scrap wishes over at Scrapz.
I think I am really getting the hang of making cards, these last few have turned out rather good if I can say so myself :) or maybe it is the wet weather we are having that has my mojo working extra well...

The Color Room
I ran out of time getting my layout done for palette #26, so I created a digital layout this morning.
This was a romantic palette with colors of red/black/grey & white. I decided to keep the layout simple.
So here is the palette...
And here is my layout...

Another One I Forgot...
to share with you all...
This is a layout I created for last weeks 'What Cooking' challenge over at Scrapz. We had to create layout using 2 photos, a patterned paper background, use 3 or more stickers and a ruffle.
So her is my layout, I used Basic Grey Olivia range (love this range so pretty).
I made the ruffle out of a strip of material and added ricrac to the center.
So that is all I have to share for now, thanks for stopping by and I do love all the lovely comments you all leave :)

Scrapz Wishes...
Over at Scrapz to celebrate world card making day, Heike has been running a comp with lots of card challenges. There are 6 challenges in total and you have until Wednesday 13th October to complete them. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs. So here are the cards I have made so far.
WCMD#1 - Sketch gatefold card. I have left this card blank has I don't know theme I will use it for just yet.
WCMD#2 - What cooking challenge. I used watercolor pencils on my stamped butterfly, the stamp is a build it up which gives you all the part to make your butterfly.
WCMD#3 - Colour challenge. We had to create a pastel card, so I went with a baby card.
WCMD#4 - Window card. I tried something a little bit different with my Christmas card, the word joy is actually suspended in the window using fishing line, instead of inside the card on the back page.
I still have 2 cards to go. I am not a big fan of making cards so I don't make that many of them, has you can see I am not that good. Oh well they say practice make perfect...thanks for stopping by.

oops...
Time just seem to get away form me at times...
I forgot to post my layout for this months poster for From Screen 2 Scrap
This is the poster...My Fair Lady
The criteria was to use shades of pink, a blue title and a handmade hat. So here is my layout...
I looked at the poster and saw the painted background so added pink/grey/white paint. My handmade hat is in the lower right hand corner. So why not come over to From Screen 2 Scrap and join in.
