I Have Scrapped!!!

I finally got some creative mojo flowing and scrapped a page for this months challenge at Scrap The Boys.
Having to use this colour swatch

to create a boy page was interesting and what I needed to get back into scrapping.
So anyway here is my page...
I went for a smaller size [A4] page then I am use to doing has I did cut down my photo so only my oldest son Martin was in it. Used up some of those odd bits and pieces that I had floating around for ages, feels good to use them up finally :)
Thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate all your lovely comments ♥

My Creativeness Has Vanished

I am at a total creative standstill at present :(
Have only created one page this month but even that I can't share with you at this time.
So what do I do to get back into creating?
I do have lots of ideas floating around in my head but when I go to my scrapping desk they all seem to go out the window and i sit there pushing thing around wondering what I am doing.
I have been under a lot of stress with things that have been happening at home and I think this has a lot to do with me not being able to create.
So I am hoping once I get my personal life all sorted I will be back in there creating again, well I hope so anyway!
So now everyone don't forget to get your entries in for the November Scrap The Girls challenge,
create a page using these colours...
teal
orange
and white

Just love this combo together!

Who Loves Orange and Teal Together?

That is this month's challenge at Scrap The Girls. Do check out the site to see all the awesome samples from the CT team. So it is an easy challenge this month, you just have to use orange and teal, white is allowed of course. So what do you think of my page...
I went with brighter shades of orange and teal here. It was surprising how much I had in my stash that was orange...lol, but nt much teal at all.
 A few close ups...

Now there are some awesome prizes up for grabs again this month so do join in on the fun ♥

Misting

This month's challenge at Kraft It Up is to using misting.
Used a lovely stencil from Prima with my misting and lots of lovely bits and pieces I had floating around. Summah was 3 in this photo, all those lovely curls are gone now. I thought I would use some normal sewing thread, I have seen other use it so I decide to give it a go. Interesting effect.
A few close up for you all...

Thanks for stoppin by :)

How Can...

I get any scrapping done when my grand daughter Mia who is 20 months old takes over my desk...how cute is she!

Look at those chubby legs, adorable!!!
Summah is growing into a beautiful girl, she is missing her 2 front teeth due to an accident at a friends birthday party the other week.

I really need to get more photos of both my beautiful grand daughters before they grow up, time seems to moving too fast!

White, Yellow & Stars

Those are the criteria to use this month's over at 'White With One' challenge.
So this is what I came up with...
My photo was taken way back in the 60's, that is me second from the left looking at my mum. Yep I am wearing a hat while swimming, mum made us all wear hat no matter what the weather, lol.
Found these gorgeous Basic Grey rubons in my stash that were yellow and black which were perfect. The sheet had these cute ladybugs as well.
Just loved the white/yellow combo with the black/white photo.
So glad I have been able to get my mojo back again even I am bit on the slow side scrapping, took me a few days to get my groove on to finish this page.
Thanks for stopping by ♥

The Story Of This Photo

Story is the word at 'Bird is the Word'.
I thought this was a great word to use with a photo of our 25th wedding anniversary.
This photo was taken a few years ago...yep our 30th is fast approaching. I used up some of an old October Afternoon kit which is still one of my favourites. My hubby is always being silly and hates getting his photo taken, so getting a decent photo of him is a rare treat.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Sorry I Am Late

For posting my layout for this months challenge at Scrap The Girls.
So for this month you have to create a page using action or sports photos.
Now I thought I had heaps of photos of my girls at sports but nope could not find a one :(
So after much procrastinating I finally found this one of my youngest daughter Zoe hamming it up a bit.
Do pop over to Scrap The Girls blog site to check out all the awesome pages from the CT's, they are fantastic! This month as usual there are 3 fantastic sponsors with fantastic prizes up for grabs, so to be in for a chance to win one of these prizes get creating and us the link tool to your blog or wherever your layout is displayed [please make sure that the link goes directly to your blog post with your entry].
So again sorry I am late posting my CT layout, time has just got away from me at present with my mum here and all.

Purple Pumpkin Recipe Challenge

I just love a good recipe challenge, don't you?
Purple Pumpkin has a really good one this month.
So what are the ingredients:
  1. Paint
  2. Use a Button
  3. Add some twine
  4. Include some fussy cutting
  5. Spray ink
  6. A flower
  7. A doiley
  8. Use two different alphas for your title
So many fantastic thing to use in a page don't you think and a requirement to use all of them, as well as using some Purple Pumpkin products.
So anyway here is my layout.
How adorable is the photo of my oldest daughter when she was 3 [she is going to kill me for using it...lol]
I found these really old doilies in the op awhile ago and using one was just perfect on this page. I did some off white paint splatters on the black cardstock and some ink drops/spray on the patterned paper.
I was rather please with the finished page :)
