Lovely

I created this page for the quote challenge over at Scrapbooking From Scratch.
The quote this month is 'Every Summer Has a Story'.
Once I read this quote I knew exactly what photo I was going to use. It is one of my mum being a bit silly at the beach many years ago, has the photo is black and white I use bright colours to help lift the page.

Found some lovely old stash rubons in my draw which were perfect to use here.

Sweet Excited snd Sassy

Over at Show Us Your Stuff this month's challenge is to use either words: excite, excited, exciting on your layout. I used excited as you can see on my page below.

Just love this photo of Zoe with Brett, she was so excited getting to have a cuddle, just look at her face :)
Finally got my sewing machine out on this page. Also got to use up some scrap pieces of patterned paper as well as some old stash again.

Black Red White

Just love this colour combo and this is what Black With 2 challenge is this month.
I played with my watercolor paints to splatter paint both red and white on the black cardstock, some blended together and I ended up with some pink spots. But I thought this gives the page a bit of character.
I pulled out my 6 x 6 pad of Pink Paislee papers, have so much that I thought it was time I used some of it up.

I had a bit of an accident with my liquid glue at the bottom left hand side, thanks goodness it isn't has noticeable in the photo as on the layout it self.

You can see the dried glue more so in this photo just above, oh well it all adds to the character to the page, lol.

A Just Because Layout

I started creating this page for a challenge but it didn't fit the selection criteria so it had become a 'just because' layout. I do love how it turned out, the colours and Prima papers I used. I tried a technique that was in the latest issue of Scrapbooking Memories. Using stamps that you have wiped the edges with a cloth/baby wipe so it blends the edges of the stamps into your background. Don't know if I got it exactly right but I do like the softer edging of the stamp.

Scrap The Girls

This month's challenge at Scrap The Girls has been posted.
It is an easy one this month, a colour challenge...just use the colours Black + White + Green.
Here is my page, I used an old photo of my mum with her twin and younger sister.

I had fun playing with water colour paints on the background white cardstock. Dug out a lot of older bits and pieces too. For the hearts, I traced around chipboard shapes with black pen.

So Here Is My Layout

that I mentioned in my last post. This page I created in an hour, first time ever for me creating a layout that fast. This one is for this month's challenge at White With 1. The challenge is to create a page using white + pink + hearts, this challenge was an easy one for me that is why I think I completed my page so quickly :)

My Take On...

The Black With Two challenge for this month. It is a colour challenge, using black with yellow + blue + 5% white. So this is what I came up with, felt very rusty scrapping this page seeing it had been so long since I had scrapped :(

So tomorrow I will share another page I scrapped to and I created the whole page in an hour...omg I have never created a page so quickly, lol.

I Have Been Thinking

I know shock...I have been thinking!!!
Well seeing has I don't do a lot of scrapping anymore I am thinking of closing my blog down and just posting the scrapping that I do on Facebook.
I am just finding keeping a blog going when I have so little time anymore a real effect. And I see I am slowly loosing followers [numbers are dwindling]...
So what to do!!! I will think about it over the next month and see what I decide.

I Can't Believe...

It has been over a month since I have posted here on my blog....
What a bad blogger I am :(
I have been very busy while on holidays painting the house, haven't finished yet still have a couple of room to finish and some outside steps. Can't wait to be finished, so over painting!!!
So I only have 1 layout to share with you all for now.
This months challenge has been posted over at Scrap The Girls, for this month you have a sketch for inspiration. First I will show you my layout.

I did tweet the sketch a bit so it was more to my liking. This is the sketch...

CT's were supplied with sticky paper from Sawyer's Place for this challenge. See the ant paper and chain link one in the image above, these are the sticky papers.Now I am so hoping that I can fit in some more scrapping soon, life just gets so busy at time.

so once again have a wonderful night celebrating the old year out and the new in.

I for one will not be staying up tonight to see the new year in :( 

as I have an early start at work in the morning.

Another Page WooHoo!!!

I have created another page to share with you all :)
I cant believe that I have my mojo back now right when life starts to get very hectic with Christmas just around the corner.
Well anyway here is my page, this one is for White with 1 challenge.

What A Shock!!!

I have scrapped another page this month... :)
This one is for Kraft It Up December challenge, the criteria is to scrap about what YOU want for Christmas.
I had a bit of a think about this and decided that all I wanted for Christmas is to have my family around me.

I will be working Christmas day this year :( [well actually I worked last year as well]
but I am hoping to have some time with my family later in the day.

Another Awesome Challenge

Has been set for this month challenge at Scrap The Girls.
So what is the challenge....well it is am easy one!
All you have to do is create a layout using a LIST.
Too simple right!
Here is my page for some inspiration.

I found this old Heidi Swapp clock face in my stash and just had to use it as I wanted my layout to depict time and the things I still have to do before Christmas which are listed on my list.
Now this is birthday month at Scrap the Girls yeah!!!
Yep STG is 4 this month.
