I Can Finally Share My First Published Layout

Yep finally I can share my layout the has been published in Scrapbooking Memories Vol 14 No 12.

My sweet 2 cubby cheek munchkins are Zoe and Brett, this photo was taken so many years ago but it is still a favorite of mine.

A Digi After I Don't Know How Long

I created a digital page after a very long time...don't know how long it has been!
I decided to do a challenge over at Soul Scrappers [it has been ages since I participated]
For Julie recipe challenge you are to use:
1 x photo
ribbon
woodgrain
inkspots
negative space
So here is my page....

The cute little bush turkey in the photo was saved from our cat who wonder home one morning with it in his mouth, the good volunteers at animal rescue are looking after it now.
It felt good to scrap digitally after so long!

I Never Showed

You all a second page I created using Rainbow Splendour products. Chloe makes these incredible goodies that I just loved creating with. So here is my other page.

I used up some of my older Basic Grey papers. Rainbow Splendour goodies used Denim flower, pink tag, blue mini pinwheel...all super cute!

Sorry I Am Late

For posting my layout for this months challenge at Scrap The Girls.
So for this month you have to create a page using action or sports photos.
Now I thought I had heaps of photos of my girls at sports but nope could not find a one :(
So after much procrastinating I finally found this one of my youngest daughter Zoe hamming it up a bit.

Purple Pumpkin Recipe Challenge

I just love a good recipe challenge, don't you?
Purple Pumpkin has a really good one this month.
So what are the ingredients:

1. Paint
2. Use a Button
3. Add some twine
4. Include some fussy cutting
5. Spray ink
6. A flower
7. A doiley
8. Use two different alphas for your title

So many fantastic thing to use in a page don't you think and a requirement to use all of them, as well as using some Purple Pumpkin products.
So anyway here is my layout.

How adorable is the photo of my oldest daughter when she was 3 [she is going to kill me for using it...lol]
I found these really old doilies in the op awhile ago and using one was just perfect on this page. I did some off white paint splatters on the black cardstock and some ink drops/spray on the patterned paper.
I was rather please with the finished page :)

My First Page

as guest CT at Rainbow Splendour.
The lovely Chloe sent me a baggie full of fantastic Rainbow Splendour products, so after much drooling over these I created a page.
I used:

Red pinwheel

Red tag

Die Cut blue zigzag

Flower pin.

Loved working with these lovely products and how sweet id the little post-it note that I added to the page. Not sure about the raffia but it certainly does give the page an interesting texture and look.

Gosh Time Flys

It is the beginning of the month again!
And I am very proud to let you all know that I have been selected to be CT on Scrap The Girls for another term, woohoo!!!!
So for this month's challenge you have to create a page using stars....

I Finished Another

Page today but I can't show you all just yet, but I will show you a little peek :)

Lots of lovely bright colours on this page, and has you can see I used some red raffia as well [a first for me].
And of course I scrapped a photo of my gorgeous grand daughter Mia that was taken on her 1st birthday.

Kraft It Up

I have joined in with this month's challenge at Kraft It Up.
The criteria is to create a page using Kraft [of course], journaling and a bucket list or wish list.
Loved this challenge :) and I thought it would give my mojo a kick in the butt to get going.

My journaling is about my wish list.
Used lots of old stash as well as some newer thing and shock no patterned paper!!!
My background is a mix of paint/rubons/stickers, am so loving this effect at present.
At first I wasn't that thrilled with the end result but it has grown on me now.
I haven't been doing much scrapping lately, just can't get my groove on. I just hope I can get my act together and get back to creating, not that I ever created lots of pages each week but I want to create more than I am at present some weeks I don't do any. Well wish me luck on getting me groove back :)

1st Of The Month

So that means that this month's challenge is up at Scrap The Girls.
This month you have to create a page using 'Black and White plus 1'.
Don't you just love colour combos :)
I had a play creating some chevrons on my page, seen so many page on the net that have used chevrons that I thought I would give them a go. So here is my page, what do you think?

Creating them in the black/white really makes them pop of the page, don't you think?
Played with paint on the background and made my flower out of tulle and felt as well.
The photo is of my oldest daughter Natasha when she when she was 4 years old, wasn't she a sweetie :)
