A Couple Of Cards....
I made for Day 6 'Use it' challenge over at Scrapz.biz. For this challenge you have to use scissors or craft knife to cut out your own embellishment. No don't laugh at my robot, I think he is cute.
I used all scraps to make these cards, found these when I was culling out my scrap stash...well thanks for stopping by.
I Am...
right into all the challenges over at Scrapz.Biz. at the moment. This is for one of the 'Use It' challenge, we had to create a layout with a patchwork look to it but could only use paper scrap from our scraps stash.
Well that is all for now, keep safe.

A Couple More Photos
of my daughters car from yesterday's accident...
And these photos I took today at the towing yard...
Look at that lovely imprint of the power poll...
The assessor saw the car today and yep it is write off...he also commented that the drive of the other car was going well over the speed limit to cause this much damage...

What A Day...
My oldest daughter 'new' car was in an accident today, she wasn't driving it at the time of the accident it was parked outside her house in gear and with the park brake on. The car is a complete right off by the looks of it. What happened was a car was doing a U turn at the intersection just down the road from her place and another car come down the the hill clipped the car doing the U turn and lost control and ran straight into Tasha car, the impact was that severe that it pushed Tasha's car back about 3 meters into a power pole. So her car was impacted from the front as well as the back...
Here are a couple of photos of the accident...
So my day has been a bit upsetting, I am just so glad the Tasha & Summah weren't in the car at the time.

My daughter's car is the black Honda.
She has only had the car for a month. We are waiting to see if the lady driving the car that hit her is going to be charged, we think that she had to of been traveling at a very fast speed (not 50kms speed limit) to clip a car 3 house blocks away and still cause that much damage to Tasha's car as well....
I am going to look at the car tomorrow in the wrecking yard.So my day has been a bit upsetting, I am just so glad the Tasha & Summah weren't in the car at the time.
Now on a lighter note I have a layout to share, this one is for From Screen 2 Scrap January challenge. This is the poster we had to work with...
The criteria is: black & white layout and using one strong colour, also for extra points to use 3 or more black & white photos. So this is my take on the challenge...
Now over at Scrapz.biz they are having a Biggest Loser comp. For one of the challenges we had to create this lovely origami box, here is mine...
There are new challenges posted every day and you have until the 20th to get them uploaded to be in the draw to win some fantastic prizes. Why not pop over and check it out.
Gosh this post is longer than I thought it would be, hope I didn't bore you...

I Made Some Yummy...
Chocolate Christmas puddings today. I have seen quiet a few people have made these so really wanted to give them a go, mind you I had trouble finding the marshmallow chocolate biscuits, finally found them in coles. Well I have even had a taste and boy oh boy are they yummy, lol...someone had to try them to see if they were ok...
I think I melted my white chocolate a bit too much, has you can see my spearmint leaves on some of them sort of slipped a bit ,lol...hubby just had one and he likes them.
I can't believe that Christmas is just about here. I braved the shops again today to get the last of the pressies, now I only have to go to the drive through bottle shop to get a few things then all done, woo hoo...
Well that is all from me for now, haven't done any scrapping. I know sad isn't it....Tuesday, December 08, 2009
I Made These Today...
I wanted to make some tags, but I wanted them to be different. So I dug out my acetate sheets and made see through tags. I am really please with them :)Also had a play with my camera, now I don't have a Digital SLR camera (would love one, I have added it to my Christmas wish list, lol) but mine does have a lot of extra settings and would you believe it that I have never played with a lot of them. So anyway I wanted to take a photo of our Christmas tree which I finally put up today but it hasn't been finished being decorated, have to wait for grand daughter to come on Thursday. Well anyway the photo, it was very dark in our family room so I played with the shutter speed and look at the photo that I took, you would think that it was taken in daylight...I told hubby that it has only taken me what 4 years to learn to do this on my camera, he had a good laugh, but love the photo.
Will have to take another photo after the tree is all finished as well.Monday, December 07, 2009
A Couple More...
OTP projects to share with you. These are for the 12 days of Christmas challenges over at Scrapz.biz.
The tag challenge was to use scraps, so I just used what was on my desk at the time, lol...
I have made some of the material ones last year and I really loved them so I have made more for this year...
Love the tin, I re-cycled re-used a Prima tin for this project.
So that is all for now, I think my mojo has taken a short vacation just don't seem to want to do any scrapping at present. Well here is hoping that it will be back soon.

Another Productive Day...
This is what I have created today for the 12 Days Of Christmas Scrapz over at Scrapz.Biz.
Another re-cycle re-use project, this one uses an empty cheery tomato container.
I am going to fill it with rocky road, once I get around to making some :)
Now another voucher holder, I really love this style and so easy to make.
This is the inside...
Now today's project day 7 by Heike was to make these fantastic post-it note holders. I love them and so easy!
and another one...
Well that is it for another day.
Gosh I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner, and here I am still haven't got all my pressies. Just have to find the time to get to the shops to get them, and to avoid the crowds, hate shopping when there are crowds...
