Mind you you should see the state of my kitchen, I have biscuit crumbs everywhere, lol. But I think the mess is worth the end result....now to go and have a cuppa and a piece of slice (oh my hips are going to complain but what the heck). I am off...lol..

Only One...

To share today, I just can't seem to get into the swing of scrapping what with everything that is happening at the moment. But here is a layout I did for the Black with 2 challenge blog. It took me an hour yesterday to find some red/black/white paper, lol....

Oh I so love these paper flowers...and yep I have a new butterfly punch and I love it :)
I have another couple of photo sitting on my scrapping desk, so I am hoping that tomorrow will be a good scrapping day...so until next time take care.

Well I haven't done any scrapbooking the last couple of days, haven't felt like starting anything. What with my MIL in hospital with a blood clot in an artery. I think the stress has finally got to me and my scrapping mojo has gone on vacation. I am hoping that I might get some done tomorrow as it is raining here at present so stuck inside. Might do a couple of challenges to see if that kick starts things off. So stay safe until next time.

A Couple Of Things...

Well this is the photo of the bite from the unknown insect on my leg, look how red it is and itchy. Thankfully it isn't has bad today, I should of taken the photo a couple of days ago it was a lovely deep shade of red....you know it is hard to take a photo of your own leg, lol...



Also finished this layout today, so here it is...I have been thinking of this topic a lot lately so I thought it would make a great title for a layout...those lovely silk flower petals I found in my local discount store for $2 a bag of 100 silk petals in different shades of green, I love them...

Can Share This One Now....

This is the layout I did for the March Blind Scrap class at D2U last night. I have to say is one of my favorite layouts at present, really love how it turned out and the colours work really well together. Any way here it is.....

I don't know why my black & white photo was printed out with a bluish tint, it was originally a scanned photo. You see I raid my mums photos every now and again to get some old photos. Well I have another layout just about finished so will upload it later today. Enjoy your day!

Ouch It Hurt!

I got my leg caught on a piece of wire yesterday when I was getting into the dog pen to clean it out. I now have one good pair of short that are ruined :( and a gash on my leg. I won't be taking a photo to show you all as it is very near my groin. I just can't believe that I got caught the way I did, I had these mental pictures in my head of being found all caught up and tangled when it happened, thank god I go myself untangled even if it caused a bet of damage. Well I do have to laugh about it now :), even hubby has had a chuckle about it.
Well onto other things now...I didn't get much scraping done this weekend :( I don't know where the time went it just flew by. I did get a set of ATC done for the swap at D2U, I had to have two goes at getting them the way I wanted them to look, the first lot I threw away has they were terrible but I am happy with the second lot.
So that is about all. Will upload photo of ATC soon.

Oh How Funny!!!

I Wanted To Scrap But....

didn't feel like digging through my stash to get paper and other things out to create, so I did a digital layout...here it is.


I like the blue/black colour combo combined with the black & white photo.

I think the wet weather is starting to get to me...I seem to be getting frustrated with everything, nothing appeals to me at present...I am getting bored really easy....oh don't I just sound like on of my kids in their younger days,
Boy I better get over this and do some serious scrapping, I have some swap items to make.

Another Share

I finished my layout for this months sketch over at D2U. Well this is my take, I did turn it around to suit my photos. It was an easy sketch to work with. Well anyway this is it....


When I took the photo of this layout today to upload it, I noticed that one of my photos had a hole in it, now how could that happen from when I finished it yesterday all was ok to today having a damaged photo I am not impressed :(
and I think I know who the culprit is... one 4 legged very physio headstrong cat that has to get into everything has he thinks it is all his.
So my sister looks as if she has pigeon poo in her hair in the photo on the right. Well live and learn, don't leave layouts out where one very naughty cat can find them....

OMG!!!

Well I have just finished reading this book, has I have finished reading all books in the Twilight series, I thought another vampire book might be interesting and to my liking at the moment.

Well it was a vampire story alright, but boy most of this book curled my toes with the amount of sex/lust/love making it contained. Definitely an x rated book as far as I am concerned. Mind you I read it all....lol.
Oh if only my hubby knew what I had just read,

A Little Peak...

I have to say I rather like the way this layout turned out. Will be able to reveal the whole image next week. I struggled to get this layout finished but it took me days to complete, I seem to of lost my creative juices at present. I have so many things I what to create but I just look at my stash and nothing jumps out and grabs me at the moment. It doesn't help that my sinuses are all blocked and my ears are sore. Oh I hate having a head that feels like it is full of cotton wool :(

Well D2U is having one with a massive 30% off all stock. Sale started today and runs through until Wednesday 25th. So pop on over and grab a few bargains.
I hope that the cyclone does down grade before it crosses the coast, has it is getting closer to where I live. It is cloudy today and the wind seem to come in bursts, calm one minute then gusts of wind the next, not raining just yet.

I Just Found This...

What a fabulous idea Reverse Garbage
Reverse Garbage is a not-for-profit co-operative that sells industrial discards, off-cuts and over-runs to the public for creative and practical uses, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill.
Wish I lived closer so I could have a look!

It is a fabulous to get in there and rummage around in all that stuff, you never know what terrific find you could make.

What a Day...

Darn computers and internet...

I think there is something wrong with my computer, it is taking forever to load. I will have to get it checked again.
I also haven't felt the best today...

have had no energy and feel generally tired....

This photo is of my mum & dad with my older sister at the Stanthorpe Show in 1956. Love making these flowers out of paper, great if you haven't got others that suit.

BBQ

My niece and her family are over for a short holiday at the moment so we all got together for a BBQ lunch today. We also had heaps of lovely food to eat and lots of these as well....


Here is a photo of all of us....

We had a wonderful time, lots of eating, drinking and joking. Our sides were sore from all the laughing we did...mind you this was the third group photo that had to be taken as the rest someone was always mucking about.
I am hoping to have a layout completed tomorrow to share with you all, it is taking me longer than I had hoped to finish it but I will get there. So that is all for now, hope everyone had a fab weekend...
