Different Layout Format

This month's challenge at Show Us Your Stuff you have to create a layout using a smaller format, 8.5"x 11".
Haven't scrapped this size layout for ages so I played along.

I used up some of an older Basic Grey paper kit 'Olivia'. My handmade items are the flower and the little owl.

Recycle!!!

The challenge this month at Kraft It Up is to recycle packaging. How many of us have looked at the lovely packaging that some of our scrapbooking supplies come in and thought I should use this, well now is yor chance just play along with this month challenge KIU.
So I used some Prima packaging on my layout.

Had fun making that cute little arrow on the right side of the page :)

Are You Ready?

For this month's challenge at Scrap The Girls!!!
It is an awesome challenge this month, so what is it you ask!
You have to create a page using....
Buttons
Paint/Mist
Hexagons
What an awesome combo don't you think.
I ended up creating a rather vintage page for this challenge has the photo I wanted to use was of my nanna which was taken years ago and one of the last ever photos taken of her.

I tried a new technique of paper curling, here is a close up to show you.

The page turned out quiet busy and the paint splatters/droplets aren't as bright has I had hoped.

So I would love to see your entry this month and there are lots of fab prizes up for grabs too.
