I Made Some Yummy...
Chocolate Christmas puddings today. I have seen quiet a few people have made these so really wanted to give them a go, mind you I had trouble finding the marshmallow chocolate biscuits, finally found them in coles. Well I have even had a taste and boy oh boy are they yummy, lol...someone had to try them to see if they were ok...
I think I melted my white chocolate a bit too much, has you can see my spearmint leaves on some of them sort of slipped a bit ,lol...hubby just had one and he likes them.
I can't believe that Christmas is just about here. I braved the shops again today to get the last of the pressies, now I only have to go to the drive through bottle shop to get a few things then all done, woo hoo...
Well that is all from me for now, haven't done any scrapping. I know sad isn't it....Tuesday, December 08, 2009
I Made These Today...
I wanted to make some tags, but I wanted them to be different. So I dug out my acetate sheets and made see through tags. I am really please with them :)
Also had a play with my camera, now I don't have a Digital SLR camera (would love one, I have added it to my Christmas wish list, lol) but mine does have a lot of extra settings and would you believe it that I have never played with a lot of them. So anyway I wanted to take a photo of our Christmas tree which I finally put up today but it hasn't been finished being decorated, have to wait for grand daughter to come on Thursday. Well anyway the photo, it was very dark in our family room so I played with the shutter speed and look at the photo that I took, you would think that it was taken in daylight...I told hubby that it has only taken me what 4 years to learn to do this on my camera, he had a good laugh, but love the photo.
Will have to take another photo after the tree is all finished as well.

A Couple More...
OTP projects to share with you. These are for the 12 days of Christmas challenges over at Scrapz.biz.
The tag challenge was to use scraps, so I just used what was on my desk at the time, lol...
I have made some of the material ones last year and I really loved them so I have made more for this year...
Love the tin, I re-cycled re-used a Prima tin for this project.
So that is all for now, I think my mojo has taken a short vacation just don't seem to want to do any scrapping at present. Well here is hoping that it will be back soon.

Another Productive Day...
This is what I have created today for the 12 Days Of Christmas Scrapz over at Scrapz.Biz.
Another re-cycle re-use project, this one uses an empty cheery tomato container.
I am going to fill it with rocky road, once I get around to making some :)
Now another voucher holder, I really love this style and so easy to make.
This is the inside...
Now today's project day 7 by Heike was to make these fantastic post-it note holders. I love them and so easy!
and another one...
Well that is it for another day.
Gosh I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner, and here I am still haven't got all my pressies. Just have to find the time to get to the shops to get them, and to avoid the crowds, hate shopping when there are crowds...

Where Do I Start...
Gosh it seem like ages since I last posted.
Now where do I start...
I have been taking part in the 12 Days of Christmas challenges over at Scrapz.Biz.
Day 1 challenge was to made a little box, so this is mine
I love this little box, finished size is about 5cm square.
Day 2 was to re-cycle re-use something from around the house, I re-used this shopping paper bag...
Have wanted to decorate this for ages and this challenge was the incentive I needed.
Day 3 was to print some address/greeting labels, here are some of mine.
I used some digital elements from kits by Royanna Fritschmann, then after printing I used some green chalk around the edges.
Now I have to tackle days 4 & 5...a layout and Bon Bons!
I am having so much fun doing these challenges.
Now my DT layout for the November challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap.
This is the poster you have to use to get your inspiration from.
The addition criteria is to use a song title for your layout, also to use 3 or more Christmas embellishments and lots of colourful bling...
So here is my layout...
I titled my layout 'Believe', Christmas carol from the movie 'The Polar Express'.

I have used Christmas embellishments, I made my xmas trees and cut the presents out of patterned paper. Added sequin stars to the trees as well as bling, and the chipboard baubles which I covered in glitter for bling. Also added a row of rubon holly leaves at the bottom of the layout. Had lots of fun creating this layout and I am really please with the way it turned out.

Thankful....
for Family Time...
This layout is for Mel's sketch challenge over at ScrapZ.Biz, for the scrapz giving compz. The journaling reads 'these moments are so rare to get a photo of all of us'. Has you can see I have made some more of those tissue paper flowers, just loving them at the moment :) and that Prima patterned paper is gorgeous. I used vinyl thickers which are really cool. I am rather pleased with the way this one turned out.

Thank You Card
for challenge over at Scrapz.Biz, for the Scrapz giving weekend.
Well has most of you know I am not a card maker so don't laugh at my attempt here...
and a close up of the tissue paper flower I made...

Not Enough Time...
in a day to do all the things I want to do :( this time of year is always so hectic....
I have done another layout for this months word challenge over at Challenge Heaven. The criteria was to use the word 'everything' in the title, 2 flowers & a flourish. So this is my take on the challenge...
I used Basic Grey paper for the background & American Craft patterned papers, which I picked up really cheap at stoplight (love the bright colours). Sassafras Lass rubon, DCWV chipboard shapes (aren't the little birds cute), Heidi Swapp rubon letters (using up my old stash here) & Weave Extras teeny tiny alpha stickers (there are over a 1000 letters per pack for only $1.95 at spotlight). I also used my new Martha Stewart scallop edge punch, so in love with this punch at the moment...
So that is it for me. Oh yeah before I forget I would like to thank all you lovely people out there that have left so many lovely comments on my blog, a big thank you! I love reading your comments, again thanks...

My Dad
I don't have a lot of photos of my dad so the few I have are very precious to me. This photo I used was taken when he first migrated to Australia.
I created this digital layout for the Number Challenge over at Challenge Heaven. The criteria was to use 1 word, 2 photos & 3 patterned papers...
I used elements from Summertime Designs.
Well I have to head out to work shortly so I better get off the computer and get ready.
Keep safe until next time...

A Couple To Share...
This first layout is for the November Quote challenge over at Challenge Heaven. The quote is 'your laughter is music to my ears', plus also had to use 6 buttons & strip journaling. So this is a digital layout I created...Love the simplicity of this design!
Loved the ladybird patterned paper, so cute. Elements used here are from Divine Digital & Scrap Girls.
This next layout is for the weekly Fetch A Sketch challenge over at Scrapz Biz. I used leftover Christmas papers from the Kaiser Advent Calender I made. The chip word I found at my local $2 shop last year, there were about 6 different pieces per pack and 3 different packs. They are really gorgeous.
The KI Memories pp I used for the background is a lovely shade of hot pink almost red, suited the Kaiser paper perfectly. So that is all that I have created, don't think I will get any more done now until maybe Saturday, the rest of the week is booked solid what with work & appointments :(
